Turn on input monitoring for an audio track
In Logic Pro, click the Input Monitoring button (with the “I” icon) in the track header. Click the Input Monitoring button again to turn off input monitoring for the track.
How do I hear my voice while recording in Logic Pro X?
If you want to hear what you're recording as you record it, make sure the “I” button on your audio track is on. You'll know it's on when it lights up orange. This is the Input Monitoring button. It plays the audio you're recording through your output device.
Why is my input monitoring not working Logic Pro X?
Hi there, please check if software monitoring is switched on in Preferences > Audio (browse through tabs, if necessary). If it's switched on, you most likely need to arm the track for recording by clicking on "R" button next to "I" on the track header or mixer channel strip (so the "R" button is bright red).
